How do I create a poll?
You can create a poll by adding it while composing a new topic or by attaching it to an existing topic. Polls allow members to vote and share their opinions directly within the discussion.
You can create a poll in your forum by following the steps below:
- Log in to your forum account.
- Click the New Topic button.
- Enter the Title and Content for your topic.
- Select the appropriate Category and add Tags if needed.
- At the bottom-right of the editor, click the Add Poll.
- Configure your poll:
- Enter the poll question
- Enter the options
- Enable “Allow multiple choice” if needed
- Click Post to publish the topic with the poll.
You can add a poll to an existing topic by following the steps below:
- Open the topic where you want to add a poll.
- You can only add a poll to an existing topic if you are the author of the topic or a moderator.
- Click Moderate topicfrom the options menu at the top of the topic.
- Select Add Poll.
- Enter the poll question, options, and settings.
- Save your changes.
User Accounts must be enabled to use polls on your forum.
